Stack ventilation is a natural ventilation process driven by buoyancy forces that arise from differences in air density due to temperature variations.

Warm air inside a building is less dense and rises toward higher openings, while cooler, denser outside air enters through lower openings to replace it.
This creates a continuous upward airflow.
